Insurance fraud in non-life insurance

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se primárně zabývá problematikou pojistného podvodu na našem pojistném trhu, resp. v rámci celé naší společnosti. Diplomová práce je koncipována tak, že je rozdělena do několika tematických celků, které na sebe částečně navazují. V rámci první části se věnuji obecným aspektům pojistného podvodu z kriminalistického pohledu, tedy věnuji se určité charakteristice páchání pojistných podvodů včetně jejich pachatelů. Dále práce řeší problematiku pojistného podvodu v rámci neživotního majetkového pojištění a to konkrétně v oblasti tzv. vodovodních škod. Praktická část diplomové práce pak následně řeší vlastní analýzu skutečných škod, v rámci kterých jsou hledány společné markanty pojistného podvodu. Závěr diplomové práce je věnován návrhům na případná opatření, která by pomohlo lépe detekovat a eliminovat výskyt pojistného podvodu ve sledované oblasti.

Abstract:

This thesis is primarily concerned with the issue of insurance fraud on our insurance market, respectively. throughout our society. The thesis is designed so that it is divided into several thematic units that build on each other partially. In the first part deals with general aspects of insurance fraud criminological point of view, that is devoted to certain characteristics of committing insurance fraud and their perpetrators. The work also addresses the issue of insurance fraud within the non-life insurance, property and specifically in the area of water damage. The practical part of the thesis, in turn addresses the analysis of actual damages, within which the search for a common minutiae of insurance fraud. The final section is devoted to the proposals for any measures that would help to better detect and eliminate such insurance scam in the monitored area.
