Česká republika je vnitrozemský stát bez přístupu k moři. I přístupu k moři. I přesto zde hraje námořní přeprava nezastupitelnou roli. Zejména v rámci mezinárodního obchodu se státy Ameriky, Asie a Afriky. Tedy se státy, na které se český stát zaměřuje ve své exportní strategii.
