Pension reform as a basic instrument to solve living standarts of an anging population

Abstract:

Bakalářské práce uceleně, srozumitelně a aktuálně informuje o problematice sociální politiky, důchodových systémech, aktuální penzijní reformě i stárnutí populace. Vychází z odborné literatury, mediálních zpráv a mnoha oficiálních elektronických zdrojů. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnocení nejen teoretického přínos penzijní reformy jako nástroje k zajištění životní úrovně ve stáří, ale rovněž prakticky poukázat na přínos reformy penzijního systému v ČR, která nabyla účinnosti 1. 1. 2013. Publikované informace jsou prezentovány, tak aby měli přínos i pro čtenáře bez předchozích znalostí studované problematiky. Na základě výsledků a zjištění lze hodnotit penzijní reformu jako nutnou a zároveň přínosnou pro většinu lidí. Současně s odkazem na příklady lze doporučit vstup do druhého pilíře všem lidem s alespoň průměrnými příjmy a dobou účasti na spoření více než 10 let. Naopak starším lidem a nízkopříjmové skupině je doporučeno využití spíše 3. pilíře s ohledem na co největší výnos.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis coherently, comprehensibly and currently informs about issues of social policy, pension systems, current pension reform and the aging population. It is based on literature, media reports and many official electronic resources. The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate not only the theoretical benefits of pension reform as a tool to maintain living standards in old age, but also to highlight the practical benefits of the reform of the pension system in the Czech Republic, which came into force on 1 January 2013. The published information is presented so as to enable the benefits of reform for readers with no previous knowledge of the problem. Based on the results and the findings we can assume the pension reform as a necessary and beneficial for most people. At the same time, with reference to the examples, it can be recommended to enter the second pillar to all people with at least an average income and the time of participation in savings over 10 years. On the other hand, for the elders and low-income group, it can be recommended to use the third pillar with respect to maximizing return.
