Abstract:

Disertační práce hodnotí vývoj a proměny keramiky v 16. a v 1. polovině 17. století v jižních a západních Čechách. Novověká keramika tvoří početnou skupinu artefaktů, která je důležitá zejména jako pramen pro datování archeologických situací na základě rozboru morfologických, technologických a výzdobných atributů ve vztahu ke stratigrafickým jednotkám. Zároveň umožňuje studovat širokou škálu témat vztahu člověka a keramiky v minulosti, například v problematice produkce, transferu a spotřeby keramického zboží. Po geografickém vymezení studované oblasti jižních a západních Čech, následuje nástin vývoje bádání o raně novověké keramice v regionech a přiblížení současného stavu archeologického výzkumu zvoleného tématu. Formou katalogu je přiblížen výběr důležitých keramických souborů a nálezů. Následuje prezentace výsledků analýz vybraných raně novověkých keramických souborů a nálezů z Cetkova, Slavonic, Českého Krumlova, Plzně ad. Na základě dosud známých poznatků z archeologických výzkumů prezentovaných formou katalogu a výsledků vlastních analýz jsou následně představeny vývojové trendy v morfologii, výzdobě a technologii mezi roky ca 1500 až 1650. Výsledkem je definování kontinuit a diskontinuit v čase u jednotlivých artefaktů. Definovány jsou základní změny v lokální produkci a obchodu s hrnčířským zbožím v jižních a západních Čechách. Představena je podoba trhu s lokálním, regionálním a nadregionálním hrnčířským zbožím. Poukázáno je na potenciál, jaký mají archeologické nálezy keramiky pro studium socioekonomické úrovně domácností spotřebitelů v regionu.

Abstract:

The thesis evaluates the development and transformation of ceramics in the 16th and the first half of the 17th century in southern and western Bohemia. Modern ceramics form a large group of artefacts, which is important especially as a source for the dating of archaeological situations based on the analysis of morphological, technological and decoration attributes in relation to stratigraphic units. It also allows studying a wide range of themes about human relation to ceramic in the past, such as the production, transfer and consumption of ceramic goods. After the geographical delineation of the study area, follows the outline of the development of the research of early modern ceramics in the regions and summary of the current state of archaeological research. A selection of important ceramic sets and finds is presented in the form of the catalogue. Followed by the presentation of the results of analyses of selected early modern ceramic sets and finds from Cetkov, Slavonic, Český Krumlov, Pilsen and others. Based on previously known findings from archaeological research also presented in the form of catalogues and results of authors own analyses, the development trends in morphology, decoration and technology between the years ca 1500-1650 are introduced. The result is the definition of continuity and discontinuity in time for individual artefacts. Basic changes in local production and pottery trade in southern and western Bohemia are defined. Author created the image of the local, regional and superregional pottery market. The thesis points to the potential of archaeological finds of ceramics to study the socio-economic level of consumer households in the region.
