This thesis deals with ancient medicine and treatment in a historical context, describes development of medicine, methods of treatment and vision of an ideal physician of ancient period of time. Abstract:
Táto práca sa zaoberá antickým lekárstvom a liečiteľstvom v historickom kontexte, popisuje formovanie lekárstva, liečebné postupy a predstavu ideálneho lekára antického obdobia. Cieľom je porovnať systém lekárstva a spôsoby liečenia v antických kultúrach a poukázať na postavenie lekárov v spoločnosti. Práca zahŕňa prehľad významných osobností na poli lekárskeho umenia.
