The Metamorphose of the Spirituality in the Postmodern Age.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá současným chápáním postmoderní spirituality. Nejprve zkoumá samotné pojmy spiritualita a postmoderna z hlediska původu a vývoje jejich chápání, poté autor volí tři autory zabývající se soudobou vírou a náboženstvím v západní společnosti, Ivana Štampacha, Gianniho Vattima a Jacquesa Derridu, a zkoumá jejich vybraná díla z pohledu reflexe soudobé religiozity a proměn, kterými prochází. Ukazuje se, že přes silný vliv sekularizace a přes filosofické koncepce "smrti Boha" zůstává spiritualita integrální součástí lidské přirozenosti a nabývá nových forem, se kterými se musí jeho klasické formy vyrovnat podobně jako s novými technologiemi a jejich vlivem na duchovní život.

Abstract:

This text deals with contemporary thought of spirituality in the postmodern age. Having first outlined the history and development of understanding of the terms 'spirituality' and 'postmodern', the author chooses 3 authors competent in the field of interpreting current state of faith and religion in the western society, Ivan Štampach, Gianni Vattimo and Jacques Derrida, and examines their selected work from the point of view of forms of the contemporary religiosity and changes, which are traceable for it. Though affected by massive process of secularization and philosophical attitudes of the "death of God", spirituality tends to persist as an integral component of human nature and shows itself in new forms, that older approaches have to deal with, as it does with technology and its impact on spiritual life.
