Tourism Policy in the European Union

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou cestovního ruchu České republiky a Slovenské republiky. V práci jsou analyzována statistická data z oblasti cestovního ruchu obou zemí a faktory mající vliv na konkurenceschopnost cestovního ruchu obou států. Dále je v práci věnována pozornost čerpání finančních prostředků z fondů EU a vybraným programům EU na podporu cestovního ruchu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the tourism industry in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. This paper analyzes the statistical data on tourism from both countries and the factors with an impact on the competitiveness of the both countries' tourism industry. Further, the attention was given to the allocation of the EU funds and to the selected EU programs to promote tourism.
