Polite Phrases in the Expressive Speech Act

Abstract:

The present thesis called Las fórmulas de cortesía en el acto de habla expresivo (Polite Phrases in the Expressive Speech Act) deals with the concept of speech politeness in Spanish and especially with polite phrases present in the expressive speech act. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter focuses on phraseology. Firstly, the aim is at phraseology in general and secondly, the aim is to specify its object of study. The following chapter deals with features of polite phrases and with the usage of personal pronouns and vocatives in Spain. The third chapter is focused on pragmatics, particularly to the concept of the speech politeness and there is also a description of some of the most important theories related to this issue. In the next chapter, each speech act in particular is studied. The practical part consists of an analysis of polite phrases used in the expressive speech act. The analysis was done in view of two aspects – the semantic one and the morpho-syntactic one.

Tato práce s názvem Las fórmulas de cortesía en el acto de habla expresivo (Polite Phrases in the Expressive Speech Act) se zabývá řečovou zdvořilostí ve španělštině, zejména zdvořilostními frázemi, které nacházíme v expresivním řečovém projevu. Teoretická část je rozdělená do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola je zaměřena na frazeologii. Nejprve se zabýváme touto disciplínou obecně a poté se snažíme vysvětlit, co je předmětem jejího studia. Další kapitola pojednává o zdvořilostních frázích a o systému tykání a vykání ve Španělsku. Ve třetí kapitole se věnujeme pragmatice a řečové zdvořilosti, stejně tak zmiňujeme nejdůležitější teorie, které se k zdvořilosti vztahují. Dále studujeme jednotlivé mluvní akty. V praktické části se analyzují zdvořilostní fráze typické pro expresivní řečovou promluvu, a to ze dvou hledisek - sémantického a morfosyntaktického.
