Abstract:

Adaptivní učení zlepšuje výuku v různých vědeckých odvětvích. Tato práce mapuje současné úsilí o zavedení adaptivního učení do výuky a tréninku kyberbezpečnosti. Také dokumentuje proces tvorby adaptivní kyberbezpečnostní hry. Tato hra nabízí hráčům rozdílné levely, podle jejich výkonu. Toho je dosaženo dynamickými změnami virtuálního prostředí hry. Pro zjednodušení nasazení a hraní hry byl vyvinut skript herního asistenta. S pomocí skriptu herního asistenta byla hra testována skutečnými hráči. Zpětná vazba od hráčů ukazuje, že hráčům nevadí časové prodlevy mezi levely, které jsou ve hře kvůli dynamickým změnám ve virtuálním prostředí. Hráči také řekli, že obtížnost levelů které hráli byla pro ně vhodná.

Abstract:

Adaptive learning benefits education in various scientific fields. This thesis maps the current efforts of introducing adaptive learning to cybersecurity education and training. It also documents the creation process of one adaptive cybersecurity game. The game offers different levels to the player, depending on their performance. That is achieved by dynamically changing the virtual environment of the game. An assistant script was also developed to make deploying and playing the game simpler. The game was tested with real players, with the help of the assistant script. Their feedback suggests that the waiting time between levels introduced by dynamic changes in the environment does not bother players. The players also found the levels they played through just the right difficulty.
