This dissertation deals with innovation using the PMI-3D dimensioning system, i.e. the digitization of classic drawings into 3D models with descriptions. The first part of the thesis contains theoretical information regarding CAD systems, dimensioning, drawing-free documentation and the Product Manufacturing Information system.
