Production and Simulation of Sheet Metal Parts by Surface Forming

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá technologií plošného tváření se zaměřením na hluboké tažení plechů. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny základní principy a vznikající děje při tváření. Dále je zde rozdělení tváření podle jednotlivých kritérií. Z pohledu plošného tváření jsou popsány jednotlivé technologie s důrazem na hluboké tažení včetně přiblížení základní problematiky hlubokého tažení. Další důležitou částí jsou mechanické zkoušky plechů, kde jsou uvedeny jednotlivé zkoušky včetně principů a využití. Poslední část teorie pojednává o materiálech se zaměřením na skupiny použité v měřeních a základní aplikace simulací hlubokého tažení. V praktické části je pomocí zkoušky dle Erichsena a nástrojů ze zkoušky dle Nakajimi zjišťována tvářitelnost vybraných materiálů a průběh deformací při jejich tažení. Dále jsou na základě těchto zkoušek vybrány dva materiály, u kterých je zkoumán vliv přidržovací síly a použití brzdicí drážky. Průběh zkoušky je poté simulován v programu AutoForm R8. Po zhotovení simulací jsou jejich výsledky porovnány s výsledky reálných měření. Výstupem této práce je vyhodnocení chování jednotlivých materiálů a jejich tlouštěk při zkouškách tvářitelnosti. Jsou popsány změny, které vytváří rozdílná nastavení přidržovací síly a brzdicí drážka na tvářený materiál. Následuje srovnání výsledků z reálných zkoušek a simulací.

Abstract:

This work deals with the technology of sheet metal forming, with a focus on deep drawing. The theoretical part presents the basic principles and processes involved in forming, as well as the classification of forming based on various criteria. From the perspective of sheet metal forming, various technologies are described with an emphasis on deep drawing including an overview of the basic issues related to deep drawing. Another important part of the work concerns the mechanical testing of sheets, where various tests are described, including their principles and applications. The final part of the theory deals with materials, with a focus on groups used in measurements and basic applications of deep drawing simulations. In the practical part, the formability of selected materials and the deformation behavior during their drawing are determined using the Erichsen test and tools from the Nakajima test. Furthermore, based on these tests, two materials are selected for studying the influence of holding force and the use of a brake pad. The testing process is simulated using the AutoForm R8 program. After conducting simulations, the results are compared with the results of real measurements. The output of this work is an evaluation of the behavior of individual materials and their thickness during formability tests. The changes created by different holding force settings and the use of a brake pad on the formed material are described. This is followed by a comparison of the results from real tests and simulations.
