Abstract:
Práce analyzuje vliv zavedení přímé volby prezidenta České republiky na jeho ústavní postavení, pravomoci a ústavní systém celkově. Dále práce obsahuje rozbor postavení prezidenta v jednotlivých historických obdobích a ústavách od roku 1918 a taktéž se zabývá ústavní pozicí prezidentů zemí Visegrádské skupiny po zavedení přímé volby.

This bachelor thesis analyzes the impact of the introduction of direct election of the resident of Czech Republic on his constitutional position, powers and constitutional system overall.
