Worldwide genotype mapping of the agent of syphilis
Abstract:
Bakterie Treponema pallidum subsp. pallidum, způsobuje onemocnění syfilis. V práci jsou popsány dva hlavní způsoby molekulární typizace bakterie T. pallidum: CDC metoda a sekvenační metoda. Podle metody CDC byl jako dominantní typ bakterie určen ve většině zkoumaných oblastí typ 14d/f obsahující 14 kopií 60-pb dlouhé repetitivní sekvence v genu arp, restrikční profil d získaný z genů tprE, tprG, tprJ …more
Abstract:
Bacteria Treponema pallidum subspecies pallidum is the causative agent of syphilis. This work describes the two main approaches for molecular typing of T. pallidum: the CDC typing and the sequencing-based typing system.
