Methods of testing and evaluation in the subject of Czech language in primary school

Abstract:

V mé diplomové práci se zabývám metodami ověřování, hodnocení a klasifikace v hodinách českého jazyka. V teoretické části se věnuji oblasti Jazyk a jazyková komunikace jako jedné ze složek kurikulárního dokumentu RVP. Dále také pojmu hodnocení, který nejdříve rozebírám z obecného hlediska a následně podávám přehled možných metod hodnocení v hodinách českého jazyka. Nedílnou součástí mé teoretické části jsou způsoby, kterými lze ověřit zapamatování učiva a jeho porozumění v českém jazyce a klasifikace. V praktické části pomocí dvou typů dotazníků (dotazník pro učitele, dotazník pro žáky) zjišťuji nejčastěji využívané metody hodnocení a ověřování a jejich preference. Získaná data z pohledu učitelů a žáků porovnávám a zjišťuji jejich vliv na žáky. Výsledky mého šetření doplňuji informacemi, které jsem získala při pozorování konkrétních hodin a rozhovoru s jednotlivými učiteli.

Abstract:

My dissertation focuses on the different methods of verification, assessment and classification within the lessons of Czech language. Theoretical part of my work is dedicated to the language itself together with linguistic communication as a component of the curriculum within the General Schedule of Education. It also refers to the concept of assessment, which is initially analysed from the general point of view and subsequently followed by submitted overview mentioning the possible methods of assessment within the lessons of Czech language. Classification itself and individual methods, which can verify the memorizing of the schoolwork and its comprehension within the lessons of Czech language is also an inseparable section of the theoretical part. In the practical part of my work, I try to determine the most common ways of assessment, verification and their preferences through the two types of created questionnaires (questionnaire for teachers and questionnaire for pupils). Data gathered from both of these sources, teacher´s point of view and pupil´s point of view, are then compared and my work tries to determine its influence on the pupils. Results of my survey are later completed with information gathered during the individual observations of real lessons and interviews with the teachers.
