The star-height problem
Abstract:
Ve své práci jsem se pokusila přiblížit některé známé výsledky zatím neúspěšného hledání jazyka, který by měl hvězdnou výšku aspoň 2. V první kapitole jsou definovány základní pojmy jako regulární jazyk, konečný automat nebo syntaktický monoid. Další kapitola se zabývá jazyky hvězdné výšky 0 a 1. Závěrečná kapitola obsahuje řešené příklady.
Abstract:
My bachelor thesis deals with the star-height problem. The star-height problem is a question if there is an algorithm to compute the star-height of a given regular language and it is not yet known if there is a regular language of star-height greater or equal to 2.
