Self Service Business Intelligence Solution of Commitment Management for the Specific Company

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analýza současného stavu řízení závazků v konkrétní společnosti. Tato analýza poskytne podklady pro návrh budoucího účetního systému a návrh Self Service Business Intelligence řešení. Vedení společnosti a někteří další pracovníci mohou toto řešení využít jako podporu pro svoji rozhodovací a plánovací činnost. Úvodní část práce seznamuje čtenáře s Business Intelligence a jejími hlavními komponentami. Následující část práce se věnuje analýze současného stavu oblasti řízení závazků v rámci finančního oddělení analyzované společnosti. Tato analýza poskytuje základ pro vytvoření návrhu řešení Self Service Business Intelligence. Poslední část práce je praktickou aplikací samotného Self Service Business Intelligence, provedenou na základě předchozí analýzy. Přínos práce je v poskytnutí podkladů pro kompletní řešení Self Service Business Intelligence na celé finanční oddělení a také navrhnutí požadavků a definování potřebných informací pro budoucí účetní systém z hlediska finančního řízení závazků ve společnosti.

Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to analyse the current status of commitment management in a particular company. This analysis will provide background data for designing an accounting system in the future and a proposal of Self Service Business Intelligence solution. This solution could be used as a support for decisioning and planning of top management.Introductory part acquaints readers with Business Inteligence and it’s main components. Next part of this paper is focused on analysis of current state of commitment management within financial department in the analyzed company. This analyse is essential for Self Service Business Inteligence solution. The last part of this paper is a practical application of Self Service Business Intelligence itself, which is based on previous analysis. Benefit of this paper is in providing supporting documents for complete Self Service Business Inteligence sollution for the whole financial department and also in designing of requests and defining information for future accounting system in terms of financial commitment management in company.
