Nerovnoměrným hospodářským vývojem České republiky došlo ke značné ekonomické diferenciaci regionů. Některé části ČR zaznamenaly značný rozvoj, zejména pak Praha se svým zázemím a většina krajských měst. Na druhé straně jsou zde regiony strukturálně postižené, zaostávající či periferní. Significant economic differentiation in regions was caused by unequal economic development. Significant development was monitored in some parts of the Czech Republic, especially in Prague and majority of county towns.
