Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se řeší problematika zaplynění odlitku, konkrétně jaký vliv na něj bude mít úprava geometrie odvzdušňovacích jamek. Protože důvodů, kvůli kterým se porozita v odlitku objevuje je několik, zaměřuje se tato práce především na jeden, a to geometrii odvzdušňovací soustavy. Za pomoci numerických simulací v programu MagmaSoft bude probíhat vyhodnocení dvou modelů odvzdušňovací soustavy pro stejný odlitek. Porovnávací geometrie a průřez kanálku bude vycházet z doporučení v článku: Influence of overflow connecting channel cross-section design on selected parameters of high pressure die casting. Upravená odvzdušňovací soustava bude založena na úvaze vylepšení této stávající. Provedenou simulací jsem zjistil, že při pohledu na průměrné hodnoty porozity v kontrolních místech nastane u upravených odvzdušňovacích jamek mírné z horšení v několika setinách procent. Ovšem při pohledu na grafické znázornění se zdá, že úprava splnila svůj účel a porozita klesla. Průměrné hodnoty v kontrolních bodech jsou tedy horší, avšak pohledově odlitek vypadá lépe. Kritické místo, které kazí průměr porozity je SM 3. Použití upravené odvzdušňovací soustavy by tedy bylo výhodné v případě, že se dále upraví buďto proudění taveniny nebo jádro nacházející se v blízkosti bodu SM 3. Pokud toto není možné, tak je výhodnější využití výchozího rozvržení odvzdušňovacích jamek.

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis, the issue of casting porosity is addressed, specifically examining the influence of geometry modifications on the venting system. As there are several reasons for the occurrence of porosity in the casting, this work primarily focuses on one, namely the geometry of the venting system. Using numerical simulations in the MagmaSoft program, an evaluation of two venting system models for the same casting will be conducted. The comparative geometry and channel cross-section will be based on recommendations from the article: Influence of overflow connecting channel cross-section design on selected parameters of high-pressure die casting. The modified venting system will be based on considerations for improving the existing one. Through the conducted simulation, it was found that when looking at the average porosity values at control points, there is a slight deterioration in the modified venting holes by a fraction of a percent. However, from a visual perspective, it seems that the modification has achieved its purpose as the porosity has decreased. Thus, while the average values at control points are worse, visually the casting appears better. The critical point affecting the porosity diameter is SM 3. Therefore, the use of the modified venting system would be advantageous if further adjustments are made either to the molten metal flow or the core located near point SM 3. If this is not feasible, then it is more advantageous to utilize the original layout of the venting holes.
