Logistics of the internet shop

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce Logistika internetového obchodu je popis, analýza a zhodnocení logistického systému konkrétního podniku. V diplomové práci jsou dále navržena doporučení i odhad nákladů potřebných k odstranění slabých míst v této funkci podniku. Teoretická část je zaměřena na základní teoretické poznatky z oblasti logistiky, problematiku elektronického obchodování a zákaznického servisu. V praktické části je představena vybraná společnost Internet shop s.r.o., shrnuty jednotlivé složky logistického řetězce a na základě dotazníkového šetření také důležité složky zákaznického servisu společnosti. Následně jsou aplikovány poznatky z teoretické části a navržena jednotlivá opatření včetně finanční náročnosti, která mohou sloužit jako návod k optimalizaci současných problémových oblastí logistiky a zákaznického servisu internetových obchodů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis called “Logistics of the internet shop” offers its readers a description, analysis and evaluation of the logistics of a particular company. The thesis also proposes suggestions and recommendations, and at the same time estimates costs which would be necessary to eliminate the weaknesses and drawbacks in the particular company. The theoretical part focuses on fundamental theoretical knowledge concerning logistics, e-shopping and customer services. The practical part of the thesis introduces the selected Internet shop Ltd. company, sums up individual elements of the logistics chain, and on the grounds of a survey, which made use of a questionnaire, deals with significant components of the customer service provided by the company. Subsequently, we apply the findings from the theoretical part and propose individual measurements as well as related costs which can serve as a guideline to optimization of current issues in the sphere of logistics and customer service in online shopping.
