Environmentální látky ovlivňující působení přirozených hormonů, tzv. endokrinní disruptory, se zdají být jedním z rizikových faktorů, který se podílí na celosvětovém snížení reprodukčního potenciálu samců. The environmental compounds interfering with natural hormone functions, termed endocrine disruptors, are widely discussed as one of possible causes of the reproductive detriment in males.
