Mosaicking of High - Resolution Biomedical Images
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the theory, design and implementation of registration methods and stitching. The goal is to compose a large image from a grid of smaller ones in order to get large field of view and preserve high-resolution. Small images were acquired using an optical microscope. The work is mainly used in the field of tissue pathology.
