Abstract:

V subsaharské Africe představují ženy více než polovinu populace, přesto se ženy často ocitají v podřízených pozicích ve srovnání s muži v politice, ekonomickém postavení a sociálních hierarchiích, což odráží systematické vzorce marginalizace a nerovnosti. Hlavním účelem této studie je systematicky analyzovat přehled literatury o emancipaci žen v Zambii, Zimbabwe a Malawi v letech 2010 až 2022. Tato studie použila systematický přehled k přezkoumání a syntéze existující literatury o úsilí o emancipaci žen v Zambii, Zimbabwe a Malawi se zaměřením na klíčová témata, trendy a výzvy od roku 2010 do roku 2022. Byly prohledávány různé elektronické databáze pro recenzované časopisy ( Medline, CINAHL, PubMed a Embase) a šedá literatura z technických zpráv, jako je Světová zdravotnická organizace a Organizace spojených národů, byly ručně prohledávány. Vybrané články byly publikovány v letech 2010–2022. V letech 2010–2022 bylo staženo dvacet osm (28) článků z Malawi, Zambie a Zimbabwe, které byly systematicky přezkoumány. Výsledky ukázaly, že socioekonomicky vyspělé ženy mají větší postavení než ty méně privilegované. Vzdělávání žen v rozvojových zemích je zásadní. Doporučuje se investovat do masového vzdělání žen. Země sdílejí podobné charakteristiky (úrovně a trendy), příležitosti a výzvy, proto se doporučuje, aby tyto 3 země sdílely své znalosti a zkušenosti, jak je uvedeno v Agendě 2030 pro udržitelný rozvoj cílů (SDG). Je také zapotřebí více výzkumu, který by se zaměřil na posílení postavení žen v Africe.

Abstract:

In Sub-Saharan Africa, women represent more than half of the population, yet women often find themselves in subordinate positions compared to men in politics, economic standing, and social hierarchies, reflecting systematic patterns of marginalization and inequality. The main purpose of this study is to analyse the progress made towards women's emancipation and the challenges faced to achieve gender equality by women using a literature review on women's emancipation in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Malawi from 2010 to 2022. This study employed a systematic review to review and synthesize existing literature on women's emancipation efforts in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Malawi, focusing on key themes, trends, and challenges from 2010 to 2022. Various electronic databases were searched for peer-reviewed journal papers (Medline, CINAHL, PubMed and Embase) and grey literature from technical reports such as the World Health Organisation and United Nations were hand-searched. The articles selected were published between 2010- 2022. Twenty eight (28) articles were downloaded from Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe from 2010-2022 and were systematically reviewed. The results revealed that socio-economically advanced women are more empowered than the less privileged. Women’s education in developing countries is critical. It is recommended that women’s mass education be invested. The countries share similar characteristics (levels and trends), opportunities and challenges. Therefore, it is recommended that the 3 countries share their knowledge and experiences as outlined in the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Goal Development (SDG). More research is also needed to focus on women's empowerment in Africa.
