In this thesis we study plasma immersion ion implantation (PIII). The goal of this thesis is to find out the optimal working conditions for PIII. In the experimental section, which is divided into four different series of samples, we created titan nitrid layers below the surface of samples. V tejto bakalárskej práci sa zaoberáme plazmovou imerznou iónovou implantáciou (PIII). Cieľom tejto práce je určiť optimálne podmienky pre proces PIII. Experimentálna časť je rozdelená na štyri rôzne série vzoriek, kde boli vytvorené titán nitridové vrstvy pod povrchom vzoriek.
