Gendarmerie Sychrov in 1935 - 1940

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se zaměříme na činnost a působení četnického sboru na stanici Sychrov v období od roku 1935 do roku 1940. Ve sledovaném období se udály zásadní politické, hospodářské, ekonomické a společenské změny. Byla to doba Mnichovské krize, období Česko-Slovenské republiky a vzniku Protektorátu Čechy a Morava. Tyto události měly významný dopad na četnickou práci. Pokusíme se popsat strukturu místní stanice, národnostní složení, pracovní povinnosti a výzbroj místních četníků. Zaměříme se na běžnou činnost četníků, jako je např. řešení trestných činů. Ukážeme, jaké trestné činy převažovaly v jednotlivých letech, jak místní četníci postupovali při svých pokusech o vyřešení zločinů a popíšeme zajímavé případy.

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis we will focus on the activities and activities of the gendarmerie corps at the station Sychrov in the period from 1935 to 1940. During the period under review, fundamental political, economic, economic and social changes took place. It was the time of the Munich crisis, the period of the Czech-Slovak Republic and the establishment of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. These events had a significant impact on gendarmerie work. We will try to describe the structure of the local station, national composition, work duties and armament of local gendarmes. We will focus on the usual activities of gendarmes, such as dealing with crimes. We will show what crimes have prevailed over the years, how local gendarmes proceeded in their attempts to solve crimes, and describe interesting cases.
