Témou tejto bakalárskej práce je stret tradícií a modernosti v literárnom diele marockého frankofónneho spisovatela Tahar Ben Jellouna. Po načrtnutí historického kontextu Maroka 20. storočia, práca predstavuje literatúru tohto obdobia. Plynule nadväzuje na život a tvorbu Tahar Ben Jellouna.
