Tasks in Class Mathematical Competition and their solutions by pupils

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá úlohami využitelnými ve třídní matematické soutěži a strategiemi jejich řešení žáky prvního stupně ZŠ. Teoretická část podává stručný přehled východisek a pojmů, na nichž je založeno a z nichž vychází ověřování souboru zpracovaných úloh v praktické výuce: v rovině pedagogicko-psychologické (kognitivní vývoj dítěte, inteligence) i v rovině didaktické (nestandardní matematická úloha, strategie řešení úloh, matematická soutěž jako významný motivační činitel). Praktická část je zaměřena na vytvoření souboru úloh s potenciálem jejich zařazení do třídní matematické soutěže. Úlohy byly ověřeny v praktické výuce. Analýza úloh a jejich přijetí žáky umožnily jejich následnou úpravu do konečné podoby, prezentované v diplomové práci.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is concerned with tasks used in mathematical class competitions and their solutions as performed by first stage elementary school pupils. The theoretical part contains a brief overview of the fundamentals and terminology which serve as the basis for the verification of the collection of tasks compiled during practical lessons; both on the educational and psychological level (cognitive development, intelligence), as well as on the didactic level (non-standard mathematical tasks, task solution strategies, mathematical competition as a significant motivational factor). The practical part aims to create a collection of tasks that have the potential to be included in a mathematical class competition. These tasks have been tested during practical lessons, and the analysis of the tasks and their reception among the pupils led to a subsequent adjustment to their final form, which is presented in the thesis.
