Abstract:

V diplomovej práci sú prezentované zákonitosti a špecifiká prekladania dramatických textov so zreteľom na ich jazykovú výstavbu. Následne sú tieto poznatky aplikované na preklad divadelnej hry Gif od holandskej autorky Lot Vekemans do slovenčiny. V prvej časti práce je rozobraná holandská divadelná tradícia a vývoj písania holandských divadelných textov. Divadelná hra Gif je vsadená do holadnského divadelného kontextu. Druhá časť práce pojednáva o výstavbe divadelného textu po stránke morfologickej, lexikálnej, syntaktickej a štylistickej. Teoretické poznatky sú demonštrované na preklade divadelnej hry Gif. Tretia časť je venovaná prekladateľským problémom ktoré sú špecifické pre prekladaný text.

Abstract:

This master thesis presents the peculiarities and specifics of theatre translation with regard to their linguistic construction. The theoretical findings are subsequently applied to the translation of the screenplay Gif by the Dutch author Lot Vekemans into Slovak language. The Dutch theatre tradition is demonstrated in the first part as well as the development of the Dutch screenwriting. The text of the Dutch screenplay Gif is situated into the Dutch theater context. The second part deals with the composition of a theater text concerning morphological, lexical, syntactical and stylistical means. The theory is demonstrated on the translation of de screenplay Gif. The third part displays the translation problems which are specific to the translated text.
