Organic Mental Disorders

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je členěna na dvě navzájem propojené části počínaje teoretickou a konče praktickou částí. Teoretická část se zabývá obecným vymezením organických psychických nemocí a vlivem psychoaktivních látek na osobnost člověka. Velká pozornost je zde věnována demencím, neboť demence zaujímají majoritní postavení u organických psychických chorob a následně vymezuje jejich druhy a možné příčiny vzniku. Další část diplomové práce se zabývá pácháním trestných činů psychicky nemocnými osobami, typologií pachatelů a posuzováním jejich nepříčetnosti. Pozornost je rovněž věnována zadržením těchto nemocných osob, nebezpečnosti vůči společnosti a významu ochranného léčení. V závěru teoretické části je vysvětlen postup rehabilitace a proces znovuzapojení do společnosti u těchto psychicky nemocných osob. Praktická část předkládané diplomové práce se snaží za pomoci kvalitativních metod – rozhovoru zmapovat dosavadní život osoby s organickou psychickou poruchou, objasnit příčiny vzniku nemoci a její vliv na páchání trestné činnosti.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is divided into two interrelated parts beginning with the theoretical and ending the practical part. The theoretical part deals with the general definition of organic mental disorders, the influence of psychoactive substances on the development of these diseases. A great deal of attention is devoted to dementia, as dementia occupies the majority position in organic mental illnesses and subsequently defines their species and possible causes. Another part of the diploma thesis deals with committing crimes of mentally ill persons, typology of perpetrators and assessment of their insanity. Attention is also paid to the detention of these sick persons, the danger to society and the importance of protective treatment. At the conclusion of the theoretical part is explained the process of rehabilitation and the process of reintegration into the society of these mentally ill persons. The practical part of the submitted diploma thesis tries to describe the life of a person with organic psychological disorder using qualitative methods - interview. Clarify the causes of the disease and its course in committing crime.
