The main aim of this thesis is to present to reader basic information about Time magazine. Other topics of the thesis are about lives of two chosen representatives, Queen Elizabeth II and President Barack Obama. Thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical one. Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je seznámit čtenáře se základními informacemi o TIME magazínu. Další téma, kterým se tato práce zabývá, je život dvou významných osobností, Královny Alžběty II. a amerického prezidenta Baracka Obamy.
