Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo charakterizovat sociální vztahy na pracovišti a poukázat na možné dopady negativních vztahů na pracovní výkon, motivaci a zdraví jednotlivců. Práce byla koncipována jako teoreticko-empirická. V teoretické části byla věnována pozornost zaměstnaneckým vztahům, pracovnímu prostředí a pracovním podmínkám, zejména se jednalo o popis vybraných konfliktů na pracovišti a nadměrnému stresu. V praktické části je nejprve charakterizován realizovaný výzkum, jehož cílem bylo prozkoumat zkušenosti zaměstnanců se sociálně-patologickými jevy na pracovišti a zjistit, jak zaměstnanci hodnotí jejich dopad napracovní výkon a vztahy napracovišti. Dílčím cílem bylo formulovat doporučení týkající se prevence a zvládání sociálně-patologických jevů napracovišti. Výzkumnou jednotku tvořilo 133 respondentů, z nich mělo 79 % respondentů zkušenost se sociálně-patologickými jevy. Zjištěn byl negativní dopad této skutečnosti na fyzické zdraví oběti, její sebevědomí, též na atmosféru v organizaci. Odhalení případu vede většinou k odchodu oběti ze zaměstnání, organizace se následně nesnaží o zpracování této skutečnosti a dle jejích dopadů o nastavení vhodných preventivních a kontrolních opatření. V návaznosti na zjištěné výsledky jsou v závěru práce formulována doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis was to analyse social relationships in the workplace and to highlight the potential effects of negative relationships on work performance, motivation and health of individuals. The thesis was written in theoretical-empirical style. In the theoretical part, attention was paid to employee relations, work environment and working conditions; it provided a description of selected workplace conflicts and excessive stress. In the practical part, the conducted research is first characterised, the aim of which was to analyse employees' experiences with social pathological phenomena in the workplace and to find out how employees evaluate their impact on work performance and workplace relations. A sub- objective was to provide recommendations for preventing and managing socio-pathological phenomena in the workplace. The focus group consisted of 133 respondents, of whom 79 % had experienced social pathological phenomena. This was found to have a negative impact on the physical health of the victim and his/her self-esteem, as well as on the atmosphere in the organization. These situations usually lead to the victim's departure from the company; the organisation does not try to deal with this fact and set appropriate preventive and control measures with regard to its impact. Following the findings, the thesis concludes with recommendations for practice.
