The Common Spoken Language in Třebíč

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zaměřuje na hláskoslovnou a tvaroslovnou vrstvu běžné mluvy města Třebíče, jedné z lokalit českomoravské nářeční skupiny. Je vyslovena hypotéza, že do mluvy mladé generace dynamicky pronikají nové obecněčeské jevy, a naopak mnohé prvky moravské z úzu mladých ustupují. Práce je založena na nářečním výzkumu, který byl proveden za použití dotazníku a jehož se zúčastnilo 85 rodilých mluvčích ze tří různých věkových skupin. Dotazníkový výzkum byl doplněn o analýzu zaznamenaných spontánních promluv devíti informátorů. Součástí textu jsou mj. kapitoly představující některá teoretická východiska, dějiny města a jeho současnou tvář. Nejrozsáhlejší kapitoly se věnují výsledkům nářečního výzkumu a postižením některých tendencí v třebíčské městské mluvě (v generačním srovnání). Přílohy obsahují mj. dotazník a ukázky promluv informátorů.

Abstract:

The present thesis focuses on the phonemic and morphological systems of the common spoken language in the town of Třebíč, which falls within the Bohemian-Moravian dialect group. The hypothesis is put forward that the language of the young generation is dynamically being enriched by new Bohemian phenomena, while some Moravian features tend to be receding. The thesis is based on a dialect research which was carried out using a questionnaire and in which 85 native speakers from three different age groups participated. The questionnaire research was accompanied by an analysis of spontaneous utterances of nine speakers. The text includes chapters introducing some theoretical concepts and the town's history and contemporary character. The most extensive chapters deal with the outcomes of the dialect research and with the description of some tendencies in the common spoken language in Třebíč (with a view to generational differences). The attachments contain the questionnaire as well as examples of the recorded utterances.
