The analysis of preparatory period in alpine skiing with the focus on performance in slalom and giant slalom

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá točivými disciplínami alpského lyžování (slalom, obří slalom). V práci je obsažena historie a vývoj, charakteristika, teoretická východiska kondiční přípravy, plánování a evidence a základy soutěžního řádu alpského lyžování. Cílem práce je zjistit vliv modelu příprav na výkonnost v jednotlivých disciplínách. Práce obsahuje analýzu tělesné a technické přípravy skupiny lyžařů. Výsledky analýz se srovnáním s následnou výkonností skupiny juniorů a dospělých ukazuje na důležitost a odlišnost příprav se zaměřením na zlepšení dominantní disciplíny. Práce dokázala odpovědět na výzkumné otázky, čímž byl cíl práce splněn.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is focused on rotating disciplines of Alpin skiing (slalom, giant slalom). Thesis includes history and development, characteristics, theoretical basis of conditional training, planning and evidence and the basics of the Alpine skiing rules. The goal of this thesis is to find out the effect of the preparation model on performance in rotating disciplines. The work contains an analysis of the physical and technical preparation of a group of skiers. The results of the analysis with the subsequent performance of the junior and adult groups show the importance and diversity of the preparations with a focus on improving the dominant discipline. The thesis was able to answer the research questions, thus fulfill the aim of the work.
