Culture of organization and ethics in management

Abstract:

Project titled Culture of organization and managerial ethics includes three main sections. Each of them includes few smaller topics. The main reason of the first section is to explain the core and importance of culture of organization, its structure, contents, ways and strength. It also defines all different types of company culture and ways we wish to create it. Section number two looks at managerial ethics, the core, level and structure of it. It concentrates on ethical principle – one of the main forms of managerial institutionalization. It explains main functions, types and creation of ethical principles. It also directs its attention at different ways of successful improvement of managerial ethics. The end of section two concentrates on how managerial ethics influences company culture. The third section is practical part which compares organization culture and managerial ethic in two different branches of Tatra Bouka a.s. The results of this survey are included in recommendations for practice.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca s názvom Kultúra organizácie a etika v manažmente pozostáva z troch hlavných kapitol, pričom každá z kapitol je rozčlenená na viacero podkapitol. Prvá kapitola je venovaná podstate a významu kultúry organizácie, zaoberá sa jej štruktúrou, prostriedkami obsahom a silou. Táto kapitola definuje jednotlivé typy podnikovej kultúry ako i proces jej želateľnej tvorby. Druhá kapitola rozoberá problematiku manažérskej etiky, jej podstatu, úrovne a štruktúru. Zaoberá sa jednou z hlavných foriem inštitucionalizovania manažérskej etiky – etickým kódexom. Charakterizuje hlavné funkcie, typy a tvorbu etických kódexov. Pozornosť je venovaná aj predpokladom pre úspešný rozvoj etiky v manažmente. Záver druhej kapitoly je zameraný na vplyv manažérskej etiky na podnikovú kultúru. Tretiu kapitolu tvorí praktická časť, ktorá sa venuje komparácii podnikovej kultúry a manažérskej etiky v dvoch pobočkách Tatra banky a.s. Výsledky prieskumu sú zhrnuté v odporúčaniach pre prax.
