Human as a basic element of IS security

Abstract:

This thesis is based on the view that no security countermeasure is perfect, and each requires some compromises to the users, whether it's limited applicability, or other unpleasantness. Result of incorrect implementation of security countermeasures, negligence or errors may increase in the risk of internal threats. The first part is a brief description of the history of information security and describes the different threats that can influence users. Furthermore, it is briefly described the management of information security, the theoretical framework and explanations of concepts and research findings are included in the case study that examines the human view of the different security countermeasures.

Abstract:

Táto práca je založená na pohľade, že žiadne bezpečnostné protiopatrenie nie je dokonalé a každé vyžaduje určité kompromisy voči užívateľovi, či už je to obmedzená použiteľnosť, alebo iná nepríjemnosť. Výsledkom nesprávnej implementácie bezpečnostných protiopatrení, nedbanlivosti alebo chyby môže vzrásť riziko internej hrozby. V prvej časti je uvedený stručný popis histórie informačnej bezpečnosti a popísané jednotlivé hrozby, ktoré môžu užívateľov zastihnúť. Ďalej je stručne popísané riadenie informačnej bezpečnosti, teoretický rámec a vysvetlenie pojmov a záver práce je zahrnutý v prípadovej štúdií ktorá skúma ľudský pohľad na jednotlivé bezpečnostné protiopatrenia.
