Influence of float loops on the mechanical properties of knitted fabrics

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce bylo zjistit, jaký vliv mají podložené kličky ve struktuře pleteniny na jednotlivé oblasti tahové křivky a co tyto jednotlivé oblasti ovlivňuje. V rešeršní části práce jsou popsány základní pletařské pojmy, tvorba pleteniny, strukturní parametry pletenin, geometrie zátažné jednolícní pleteniny, geometrie deformovaného prvku zátažné jednolícní pleteniny. Dále jsou definovány vybrané mechanické vlastnosti pletenin a to konkrétně pevnost, tažnost a celkový průběh deformace pleteniny. Byly stanoveny předpoklady vlivu podložené kličky ve struktuře pleteniny na průběh deformace. V experimentální části jsou uvedeny statisticky zpracované výsledky měření mechanických vlastností a to pevnosti a tažnosti příze a jednotlivých vazeb pletenin. Dále zde jsou grafy tahových křivek jednotlivých vazeb, které jsou mezi sebou porovnány. V poslední kapitole této práce jsou analyzovány vztahy, které byly zjištěny z tahových křivek pletenin.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to investigate the affect of the backed loop in the knit structure on individual areas of tensile curves and to ascertain what influences these individual areas. The research part describes the basic concepts of knitting, knit formation, structural parameters of knitted fabrics, single jersey weft geometry, geometry deformed piece of weft knitted jersey. Next, selected mechanical qualities of knitted fabrics are defined; namely strength, elongation and the overall course of the deformation of the fabric. Assumptions about the affect of backed loop in the knit structure on the course of deformation were made. The practical part contains statistical measurement results of mechanical qualities, i.e. strength and elongation of yarn and of the individual weave knits. Furthermore, there are graphs of tensile curves of the individual weaves that are compared with each other. In the last chapter of this thesis the relationships that were identified from the tensile curves knits are analysed.
