The aim of this thesis is to compare passive construction in online technical articles and discussions. The theoretical part of this thesis describes passive voice, classifies it and defines its application. Further, the technical writing style and conversational style are characterized. Abstract:
Cílem této práce je porovnání pasivních konstrukcí v odborných článcích a diskuzích na internetu. Teoretická část se věnuje definici a tvoření pasiva, vyjmenovává formy pasivních konstrukcí a uvádí funkce pasiva. V praktické části jsou uvedeny hypotézy a metody výzkumu a následně jsou pasivní konstrukce analyzovány. Výsledky výzkumu jsou prezentovány v tabulkách a v závěru práce interpretovány.
