Indicators of economic productivity of companies

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá ukazateli ekonomické výkonnosti firem a metodami jejich výpočtu. Vzhledem k tomu, že společnost, posuzovaná v této práci, v současné době sleduje svou výkonnost pouze namátkově, povrchním způsobem, stalo se cílem této závěrečné práce navrhnout a zpracovat systém doporučeným ukazatelů ekonomické výkonnosti, které by daná společnost měla sledovat, a současně vyhodnotit výkonnost dané společnosti v období tří let a za pomoci benchmarkingového diagnostického systému finančních indikátorů INFA porovnat několik vybraných ukazatelů s odvětvovým průměrem. Teoretická část je rozdělena na dvě části. První část práce je věnována charakteristice jednotlivých ukazatelů ekonomické výkonnosti firem, které budou zpracovány v praktické části práce, v obecné rovině, jejich vývoji v minulosti, zdrojům dat pro jejich měření a principům jejich fungování. V této části je také přiblížen použitý benchmarkingový diagnostický systém finančních indikátorů INFA . Taktéž je zde představena konkrétní společnost, jejíž ekonomická výkonnost a pozice na trhu je zjišťována v praktické části bakalářské práce. Zjištěné výsledky jsou pomocí výše uvedeného benchmarkingového diagnostického systému porovnány s odvětvovým průměrem společností podobného zaměření. V závěrečné části jsou shrnuty poznatky s porovnáním cíle.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with indicators of economic productivity of companies and methods of its calculation. Since the company, evaluated in this thesis, observes its productivity just superficially at random, the goal of this bachelor thesis became to work a suggestion of a system of recommended indicators of economic productivity, which should the concrete company observe. The suggested system of indicators of economic productivity is processed for three-year period. On the basis of its results will be some of the selected indicators of the company compared with branch average by the benchmarking diagnostic system of financial indicators INFA. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the general characteristic of each single indicator of economic productivity of companies, which will be used in the practial part of the thesis, to development of the indicators of economic productivity in past, sources of data needed for its measurement and principles of its functioning. This part of the thesis also closer describes the benchmarking diagnostic system of financial indicators INFA and introduces a concrete company, whose economic productivity and position on market is investigated in practical part of the bachelor thesis. Discovered results are compared with the branch average of similar companies by using of the mentioned benchmarking diagnostic system. I summarize the discovered knowledges with comparison to the goals of the bachelor thesis in the closing part.
