Abstract:

Práce se zabývá souvislostmi řešením konfliktů v partnerském vztahu s emoční regulací, citovou vazbou k partnerovi, citlivostí k systému inhibice (BIS) A aktivace (BAS) chování. Zároveň byly tyto souvislosti testo-vány u respondentů s hypertenzí. Zjištění vyplývají z dotazníkového šetření na vzorku 202 respondentů, kteří byli v době testování v partnerském vztahu. Neadaptivní strategie emoční regulace (jako je ruminace, katastrofizace, sebeobviňování a obviňování druhých) se ukázaly být signifikantními prediktory reaktivního, submisivního a kompromisního stylu řešení konfliktů. Lidé, u kterých se při negativních situacích více obje-vovala neadaptivní strategie emoční regulace, při konfliktu s partnerem spíše využívali reaktivního a submisivního stylu řešení. Zatímco lidé, kteří méně využívali neadaptivní strategie emoční regulace, spíše konflikt s partnerem řešili kompromisem. U všech stylů řešení konfliktů byla jako prediktor nalezena úzkost-nost, či vyhýbavost citové vazby nebo obojí. Jako prediktory hypertenze byly zjištěny věk, vyhýbavost citové vazby, reaktivní styl řešení konfliktů a neadaptivní strategie emoční regulace – katastrofizace a obviňování druhých. Významnost zjištění byla diskutována v syntéze s předešlými empirickými zjištěními.

Abstract:

The study focuses on conflict resolution in a relationship and its connection with emotional regulation, atta-chment to a romantic partner, behavioral inhibition system (BIS) and behavioral activation system (BAS). Si-multaneously the connection were tested among respondents with hypertension. The findings emerges from survey on a sample of 202 respondents who were at the time in a relationship. Maladaptive emotional regula-tion (such as rumination, catastrophizing, self-blame and blaming others) proved to be a significant pre-dictors of reactive, submissive and compromise style of conflict resolution. People who had used more mala-daptive emotional regulation strategies, employed more reactive and submissive conflict style during a conflict. While people who had used fewer maladaptive emotional regulation strategies, employed compromise conflict style. For all styles of conflict resolution has been found the anxious or the avoiding atta-chment or both as a predictor. As predictors of hypertension were identified age, attachment, reactive style of conflict resolution and maladaptive emotional regulation strategies - catastrophizing and blaming others. Significance of the findings was discussed in the synthesis of previous empirical findings.
