Perception of Educational Trajectory by Former Montessori Elementary School Students.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská diplomová práce Vnímání vzdělávací dráhy absolventy Montessori základní školy se zabývá schopností adaptace studentů při přechodu do tradiční školy, jejich začlení do kolektivu, zvládání učiva v návaznosti na předchozí způsob výuky a jejich pohled na přínos studia v Montessori škole. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na Marii Montessori a její pedagogický systém. Dále na jednotlivé vyučovací metody, pomůcky a postavení učitele ve třídě specifické pro Montessori pedagogiku. Také je zde prostor pro tradiční školu a její didaktické zásady. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je věnována přechodu a adaptaci na jiný způsob výuky. Jádro práce tvoří empirická část, kde je zkoumáno, jak žáci vnímají přechod z Montessori školy do tradiční školy, a s tím spojenou adaptaci na jiný způsob výuky. Jejich pohled na přínos Montessori školy pro budoucí profesní dráhu a život. V závěru jsou představeny výsledky výzkumného šetření. Cílem mojí bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak jednotlivé respondenty ovlivnila Montessori škola v jejich následném studiu na tradičních školách. Zajímá mě celková adaptace na nové prostředí a přínos studia na tomto typu alternativní školy.

Abstract:

This bachelor diploma thesis, Perception of Educational Trajectory by Former Montessori Elementary School Students, deals with the students' adaptability in the transition to traditional schools, their integration into the collective, their mastery of the curriculum in relation to their previous way of teaching and their view on the benefits of studying in a Montessori school. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on Maria Montessori and her pedagogical system. It then focuses on the teaching methods, teaching aids, and the position of the teacher in the classroom. There is also space for the traditional school and its didactic principles. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the transition and adaptation to a different way of teaching. The core of the thesis is the empirical part, where it is investigated how pupils perceive the transition from Montessori to traditional school and the related adaptation to a different way of teaching. Also, their perspective on the contribution of the Montessori school to their future career and life. Finally, the results of the research investigation are presented. The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to find out how the Montessori school influenced the individual respondents in their subsequent studies in traditional schools. I am interested in the overall adaptation to the new environment and the benefits of studying at this type of alternative school.
