The Implementation of Controlling into Business Management in Relation to the Selected Management Tools

Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá implementací a vyuţíváním operativního controllingu v propojení s vybranými manaţerskými nástroji. Hlavním cílem je vytvořit model vyuţití controllingového systému s identifikací vztahů k vybraným manaţerským nástrojům synergicky zvyšujících efektivitu řízení podniku a navrhnout metodický postup pro implementaci controllingového systému v podniku. Za tímto účelem jsou shrnuty poznatky ze současného stavu poznání, identifikovány moţnosti propojení namodelovaných controllingových perspektiv a vybraných manaţerských nástrojů. Je proveden primární výzkum zjišťující strukturu uplatnění controllingu v podmínkách malých a středních podniků v České republice. Na základě primárního a sekundárního výzkumu je vyhodnoceno pět zkoumaných hypotéz týkajících se forem vyuţití controllingu, jeho propojení s manaţerskými nástroji, bariér a problémů při implementaci i realizaci a jeho vlivu na ekonomickou výkonnost podniku. Případovou studií je hodnoceno vyuţití controllingu v reálném prostředí konkrétního podniku.

Abstract:

The doctoral thesis deals with the implementation and use of operational controlling in connection with selected management tools. The main objective is to create a model of use of controlling system with identification of relationships to selected management tools synergistically improving the efficiency of business management and design methodology for the implementation of the controlling system in a company. For this purpose, the findings of the current state of knowledge are summarized, the possibilities of linking of modelled controlling perspectives and selected management tools are identified. Primary research on detecting structure of the application of controlling in terms of small and medium enterprises in the Czech Republic is executed. Based on primary and secondary research, five examined hypotheses, concerning the forms of controlling, its interconnection to management tools, barriers and problem in the implementation and realization of controlling and its effect on the economic performance of a company, are evaluated. The use of controlling in the real conditions of particular company is evaluated by case study.
