Village community between the Enlightenment and Abolition of Servitude on the example of private estates of the Olomouc Chapter

Abstract:

Práce analyzuje vesnickou obec v 2. polovině 18. a 1. polovině 19. století na příkladu privátních statků olomoucké kapituly. Odpovídá na otázky, co byla vesnická obec a jak fungovala, jaké byly její funkce a jaké vztahy měla vesnická obec s vrchností a farností. V rámci práce je analyzována proměna sociální struktura obce, vývoj proměn katastru, poddanská samospráva a obecní majetek. Dále je zkoumáno, jak ovlivnila raabizace život na vesnicích, na kterých byla provedena.

Abstract:

The thesis analyzes the village community in the second half of the 18th and the first half of the 19th century on the example of private estates of the Olomouc Chapter. It answers questions about what the village community was and how it functioned, what its functions were and what relations the village community had with the lords and parishes. The thesis analyzes the transformation of the social structure of village community, the development of changes in the cadastre, village self-government and municipal property. Moreover, the way Raab´s reforms changed lives of people is studied.
