Strategic plan for small sport federation in the case of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je tvorba strategického plánu na základě analýzy současného stavu řízení a financování České asociace cheerleaders, o. s. Teoretická část práce pojednává o sportovním managementu, strategii, strategickém plánování, analytických nástrojích a problematice sportovní neziskové organizace. V praktické části jsou pak tato východiska aplikována na analyzovanou organizaci. Popis a vývoj organizace a sportovního odvětví spolu s obdobnými zahraničními organizacemi je také obsažen v praktické části. Následuje analýza, komparace, stanovení problémových oblastí a doporučení jejich řešení, které je shrnuto ve strategickém plánu. Závěr práce shrnuje získaná data a hodnocení navrženého plánu.

Abstract:

The goal of the diploma thesis is formation of the strategic plan based on the analysis of the current condition of management and financing of the Czech Cheer Association. The theoretical part focuses on the sports management, strategy, strategic planning, analytic tools and issues of a sports non-profit organization. The practical part of the thesis applies these findings on the analysed organization. The practical part also contains the description and development of the organization, sports sector and similar foreign organizations. Additionally, the practical part is followed by the analysis, comparison, definition of the key problems and their solutions, reviewed in the strategic plan. The thesis is concluded with extracted data and evaluation of the suggested plan.
