Divorces in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Obsahem této bakalářské práce je zachycení vývoje rozvodovosti v České republice, resp. v Českých zemích. Teoretická část se zabývá pohledem jednotlivců i společnosti na institut manželství a rozvod v různých časových obdobích, zkoumá vliv náboženství na tyto oblasti. Je zaměřena také na historii a vývoj právní úpravy rozvodů. Vývoj rozvodovosti v Českých zemích je zachycen od roku 1950 do roku 2011. Jsou zde blíže analyzovány některé demografické ukazatele týkající se rozvodovosti, např. počty sňatků a rozvodů, hrubá míra rozvodovosti, úhrnná rozvodovost, index rozvodovosti, míry rozvodovosti podle délky trvání manželství, příčiny rozvratu manželství, průměrný věk mužů a žen při rozvodu, rozvody podle počtu nezletilých dětí, podle vzájemného vzdělání manželů, podle místa pobytu, podle státního občanství. Je zde také srovnána hrubá míra rozvodovosti České republiky s některými zeměmi Evropy. Další část práce porovnává některé ukazatele rozvodovosti mezi jednotlivými kraji České republiky. Závěr práce je zaměřen na vývoj rozvodovosti v Ústeckém kraji a jeho okresech.

Abstract:

This bachelor work contens the divorce development in the Czech Republic, resp. in the Czechia. The theoretical part deals with individuals and society point of view to marriage and divorce in different time periods, examining the influence of religion on its. It also focuses on the history and development of divorce legislation. Divorce development in the Czechia has been recorded between years 1950 - 2011. There are further analyzed some demographic indicators related to divorce, such as the number of marriages and divorces, the gross divorce rate, the total divorce rate, index of divorce, divorce rates by duration of marriage, the causes of marriage breakdown, average age at divorce of males and females, divorces by number of minors, by educational attainment of male and female, by place of residence, by citizenship. There is also the comparison of the gross divorce rate of the Czech Republic and some european countries. Next part of this work compares some of the indicators of divorce between the individual regions of the Czech Republic. The conclusion focuses on the divorce development in the Usti Region and its districts.
