Alto Adige - the northern Italian wine region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma „Alto Adige – nejsevernější italská vinařská oblast“ pojednává o vinařství a vinohradnictví oblasti Alto Adige, jenž se geograficky nachází jižněji než Česká republika, avšak svou nadmořskou výškou a klimatickými podmínkami se jí ve výsledném projevu vína podobá. Práce se zabývá popisem oblasti, jejího zasazení do kontextu italského vinařství od historie až po součas-nost. V experimentální části jsou porovnány vzorky vín Alto Adige a vín z Moravy. Tyto vzorky jsou podrobeny senzorické analýze a následně komparovány na zá-kladě analytických rozborů se zaměřením na obsah fenolických látek, antioxidační aktivitu, hydroxyskořicových kyselin a katechinů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis on the topic "Alto Adige - the northern Italian wine region" deals with viniculture and viticulture of the Alto Adige region, which is geographically situated more south of the Czech Republic, but with its altitude and climatic conditions resembles it in the resulting expression of wine. The work deals with the description of the area, its placement in the context of Italian viniculture from history to the present. The experimental part compares selected samples of Alto Adige wines and moravian wines. These samples are subjected to sensory analysis and then compared on the basis of analitics focusing on the content of phenolic substances, antioxidant activity, hydrocinnamic acids and catechins.
