Industry 4.0 – additive manufacturing in the Czech republic

Abstract:

Cílem této závěrečná práce je analyzovat současný stav aditivní výroby v kontextu českého leteckého a automobilového průmyslu. Teoretická část práce je rozdělena do dvou kapitol. První pojednává o průmyslu (průmysl ČR se zaměřením na letecký a automobilový, průmyslové revoluce se zaměřením na Průmysl 4.0) a druhá o aditivní výrobě (vysvětlení základních principu a aspektů, technologie a zařízení, výhody a dopady na vybrané oblasti podnikové činnosti). V praktické části je porovnán současný stav technologie ve světě a na českém trhu z pohledu výrobních podniků. Data o globálním trhu byly získány z výzkumu poradenské firmy EY a následně analyzovány. Čeští výrobci byli dotázáni pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Součástí práce je i případová studie, jejímž smyslem je prezentovat reálné a praktické poznatky při implementaci a používání technologie.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current state of additive manufacturing in the context of the Czech aerospace and automotive industry. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into two chapters. The first one discusses the industry (the industry of the Czech Republic specialized in the aerospace and automotive industry, industrial revolutions with a focus on Industry 4.0) and the second one deals with additive manufacturing (explanation of the basic principles and aspects, technologies and advantages and impacts on selected areas of company activities). The practical part compares the current state of technology in the world and on the Czech market from the point of the production enterprise’s view. The global market data were obtained from the EY’s research and subsequently analysed. Czech producers were asked using a questionnaire survey. An integral part of the thesis is a case study, which aims to present realistic and practical knowledge in the implementation and use of the technology.
