Suppliers' management and development in the manufacturing company

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je posoudit, zda certifikace podle norem ISO/TS 16949 je nezbytným standardem výrobní společnosti, která chce působit a dodávat v oblasti automobilového průmyslu. K tomuto posouzení je potřeba seznámit se s různými nástroji řízení a rozvoje dodavatelů, které vedou k partnerství ve vztahu zákazník-dodavatel. Záměrem je ukázat, jak důležitou roli v tomto vztahu mohou hrát lidské aspekty, jako jsou komunikace, respekt a vzájemná důvěra a to i přesto, že zejména právě automobilový průmysl má v posledních letech čím dál vyšší požadavky na dokumentování procesů a také na neustálé zlepšování systému managementu jakosti.

Abstract:

The main objective of the submitted thesis is to assess whether the certification process implemented according to the ISO/TS 16949 standards is an absolute necessity for a manufacturing company which wants to operate and supply parts to the automotive industry. For making the assessment it is important to get to know the various tools of the suppliers? management and development, which lead to a successful partnership in the supplier-customer relations. The purpose of the thesis is to show how human-based aspects such as communication, respect and mutual trust could play an immensely important role in this relationship although it is especially automotive industry that has had increasingly higher and higher administration requirements regarding processes and also regarding the continuous improvement of the quality management in the last years.
