Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje inovativním technologiím umožňujícím sčítaní informací přímo z mozku. V rámci práce je čtenář seznámen s principem fungování těchto technologií. Je obeznámen se základními nejdůležitějšími faktory, na kterých jsou tyto technologie založeny. Práce je taktéž zasazena do historického kontextu, kde jsou zmíněny nejdůležitější milníky vývoje technologií. Jedná se o velmi inovativní koncept a jeho použití je v současné době mnohdy prozatím neimplementovatelné. V práci jsou popsány návrhy, se kterými technologiemi by mohlo dojít ke kolaboraci, pro širší využití BCI technologii. V současné fázi rozvoje jsou nejvíce používané v lékařství a ve vojenství. Přitom možnosti využití BCI technologií jsou velmi široké. Jednat se může například i o řízení koncentrace, komunikace, identifikace osobností nebo také o seberealizaci. Zároveň z důvodů inovativnosti konceptu se zkoumá i vliv nových technologii na mozek, ale též legislativa, která se dané problematiky může týkat. Momentálně technologie vyrábí privátní společností nebo jejích vývoj je dotovaný vládou nebo nestátními organizacemi. Čtenář se na konci práce může seznámit s navrhovanými scénáři vývoje BCI trhu v letech 2020–2030. Může být inspirací nebo podkladem pro kohokoliv, kdo zvažuje investici do daných technologii nebo se zajímá o inovace v oblasti inovativních technologií, medicíny či čtení myšlenek pomocí počítače.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with Brain Computer Interface technologies. During the reading of the thesis a reader is acquainted with the principles of operation of these technologies. These technologies enable researchers to gather information directly from the brain. The reader will be acquainted with the basic factors on which these technologies are based. The work is also put in historical context, there are mentioned the most important milestones in the development of technology. The concept of BCI technologies is very innovative and usage at the present times is often unimplementable. In the work there are also suggestions which technologies could collaborate with BCI technology and make it more usable. At today's stage of development, BCI technologies are the most used in medicine and the military. The potential possibilities of BCI technology are very wide. This can be, for example, concentration management, communication, identification of personalities or self-realization. At the same time, due to the innovativeness of the concept, the influence of new technologies on the brain is also examined. A big question that BCI is facing is also legislation concerning the given issue. At a given stage, the technologies are produced by private companies or its production is subsidized by government or impartial organizations. At the end of the work, the reader can get acquainted with the proposed scenarios of BCI market development in the years 2020 - 2030. The thesis can be an inspiration for anyone who is considering investing in BCI technologies, or a reader interested in innovative technology, medicine or leading the computer by power of thought
