This thesis focuses on the analysis of the main female characters of Louisa May Alcott?s Little Women and Lucy Maud Montgomery?s Anne of Green Gables series. It also deals with the general economic and moral status of women in the society by the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century and with determining to what extent the female characters conform to the societal archetypes and stipulations …more
Abstract:
Práce se zaměřuje na analýzu hlavních ženských postav románu Malé ženy od Louisy May Alcottové a sérii Anna ze Zeleného domu od Lucy Maud Montgomeryové. Zabývá se též obecným ekonomickým a morálním postavením ženy ve společnosti na konci 19. a začátku 20. století. Dále se snaží určit, do jaké míry se ženské postavy přizpůsobují společenským archetypům a požadavkům na ně kladeným.
