Gold investing

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzování zlata jako samostatné třídy aktiv, zhodnocení způsobů, možností investování a formulování doporučení. Autor popisuje jednotlivé formy investice do zlata, u většiny uvádí příklady konkrétních produktů dostupných na finančním trhu a shrnuje základní výhody a nevýhody spojené s danými formami investic. Práce obsahuje i srovnání jednotlivých investičních instrumentů z hlediska likvidity, rizika a typu investorů. V závěru nalezneme popis vývojových trendů jednotlivých složek investiční poptávky po zlatě v souvislosti s vývojem ceny zlata London PM Price. Text uzavírá vyjádření doporučení, které je výsledkem nabytých znalostí.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze gold as a separate asset class, to review possibilities of its investment and to formulate investing recommendations. The author describes individual forms of gold investment, introduces examples of specific products available on financial markets and summarizes basic advantages and disadvantages of different forms of investment. The thesis compares respective investment instruments in terms of liquidity, risks and type of investors. At the end of the thesis the author describes development trends regarding particular components of gold investment demand in connection with London PM Price. She concludes with recommendations based on acquired knowledge.
