Světový zajistný fond prošel dlouhým vývojem, jehož počátek se datuje od roku 1370, kdy byla zdokumentována první zajistná smlouva. Od té doby zaznamenal zajistný fond značný pokrok. Zajistitelé pro pojišťovny nejsou jen subjekty, které od nich přebírají rizika a zvyšují tím jejich pojistnou kapacitu, ale jsou jim i cennými rádci. The world reinsurance fund has gone through a long development process and its beginning dates back to 1370 when the first known reinsurance treaty was signed. The world reinsurance fund has noted a huge progress since then.
